OCTOBER

October 7-8, 2017:

SEDONA ARTS FESTIVAL – Sedona Red Rock High School – A favorite in the Southwest, the festival showcases 126 juried artists, the Gourmet Gallery, an international guest artist, and KidZone, as well as great music, food, and raffle prizes.

October 14-21, 2017:

SEDONA PLEIN AIR FESTIVAL – Sedona Arts Center invites you along to get creative and experience over two dozen master painters in action—making their art on location in beautiful Sedona, Arizona. Celebrate creativity with us and enjoy receptions, exhibitions, lectures, and opportunities to collect your next masterpiece at Sedona Plein Air Festival!

RED ROCKS OKTOBER FEST – CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL – Oktoberfest will support many local causes and will benefit the Rotary Club of Sedona Red Rocks and our efforts within the community.

FALL ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW AT THE SEDONA HERITAGE MUSEUM 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., free. This show is an old-fashioned arts and crafts show like you remember them to be. All items are hand-made. The artist or craftsman sits behind each table to personally tell you how they make their pieces, where they find their unusual materials or what inspires them. 

October 24-28, 2017:

The MURAL MARIGOLD PROJECT for DIA DE LOS MUERTOS – Participate in creating this amazing public mural in the Calle Independencia where visitors and community members can honor the loss of loved ones in their lives and connect with one another though art and public expression. All week the public is invited to paint on the mural 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village. Free.

October 29, 2017:

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS CELEBRATION at Tlaquepaque – Join us in the courtyards on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 2:00- 8:00 p.m. to make an offering at the Celebration of Dia de los Muertos. Music, food and beautiful altars will be on view. Watch fire dancers and visit our thematic face painting booths. Costumes are encouraged. 


NOVEMBER

November 11, 2017:

VETERANS DAY TRIBUTE – Sedona’s premiere Veteran’s Day Celebration. Held each year on November 11th at the Sedona Heritage Museum, starting at 11 a.m.

November 23, 2017:

THE 8th FIRST ANNUAL SEDONA TURKEY TROT 5K – Presented by Sedona Running Company. The start and finish will be at Posse Grounds Park in Sedona, AZ. 


DECEMBER

December 1, 2017:

SEDONA’S TREE LIGHTING & SANTA VISIT

On Friday, December 1, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Canyon Breeze Plaza in Uptown, enjoy the Tree-lighting, refreshments, local entertainment and Santa visits with children.

December 2-3, 2017:

THE NUTCRACKER – The Phoenix Ballet and Sedona Chamber Ballet will present breathtaking performances of The Nutcracker on December 2-3 at the Sedona Performing Arts Center.

December 9, 2017:

THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS – The Lighting of 6,000 Luminarias – Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. A cherished tradition which involves visitors and locals to help light six thousand luminarias in Tlaquepaque’s courtyards and walkways at 5:00 p.m. Entertainment abounds with carolers, choirs and musicians.

December 16, 2017:

HOLIDAY SWEET STROLL – Discover unique gifts, and strolling carolers at the Holiday Sweet Stroll from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Featuring some of the best boutiques, galleries and restaurants in Sedona, you are sure to find some special presents for those on your gift list.
