Bird Cage Theatre

The Bird Cage Theatre was a combination of a Saloon, Gambling Hall, House of ill repute, and Theatre. The New York Times wrote that the Bird Cage was the wildest wickedest night spot between Basin Street and the Barbary Coast. There were 16 Gun and Knife fights that left over 140 bullet holes through out the building. The Bird Cage hosted the wests longest poker game lasting 8 years 5 months and 3 days.
